Ocala Metro CEP Seeks New President & CEO
The Board of Directors of the Ocala Metro Chamber & Economic Partnership (CEP) has initiated a search for the organization’s next President & Chief Executive Officer, retaining Waverly Partners, an executive search firm with extensive experience in chambers and economic development
organizations nationwide. Waverly Partners is also the preferred provider of executive search services for the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.
The Board is now conducting a national search to identify a dynamic new leader to guide the organization
into its next phase of growth and success.
To oversee the search process, the Board has formed a selection committee, which will be led by Doug Cone (Chair Emeritus), along with current Board Chair Charisse Rivers and Executive Committee members: Ken Ausley, Dwayne Carlton, Angie Lewis, and Todd Rudnianyn. The committee will collaborate closely with Waverly Partners to identify qualified local, regional and national candidates.
“Our committee, in consultation with our staff team, has developed a comprehensive Position Profile outlining the experience and leadership qualities we’re seeking in our next CEO,” said Doug Cone. “We are open to executives with a diverse range of backgrounds in chambers of commerce, economic development, business associations, nonprofit organizations, or the private sector. What matters most is a commitment to collaborating with our partners to foster a prosperous business environment in the Ocala Metro.”
