Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Event Manager to oversee and execute various events and raise sponsorship revenue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of events to ensure successful outcomes.


Responsibilities

In this position, your responsibilities would include the following:

  • Preparing tailored sponsorship packages and selling event sponsorships to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of events from start to finish to ensure successful outcomes for the organization and its clients.
  • Managing event budgets, including resource allocation and expense tracking.
  • Implementing effective time management strategies to meet event deadlines.
  • Negotiating and coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality events.
  • Collaborating with marketing teams to promote events and drive attendance.
  • Providing excellent guest services to ensure attendee satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, public relations, hospitality, or a related field
  • At least 3 years or more experience in event planning and execution
  • proven track record of organizing successful events
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation:

  • $60,000 per year plus commission
  • Benefits include health and life insurance, matched 401K and paid vacation
